Egypt's annual core inflation rate rose to 7.44 percent in November compared to 6.26 percent in October, the Central Bank announced on Thursday.

The monthly core inflation rate increased by 0.96 percent in November compared to 1.23 percent in October.

Official statistics agency announced earlier on Thursday that the annual inflation rate accelerated to 11.8 percent in November, a five-month high.
