Egypt's Exchange decided to shorten daily trading hours to three hours and a half during the holy fasting month of Ramadan, which started on Monday.
The bourse said trading session of listed securities (Main Market) and Small & Medium Enterprises Stock Exchange (NILEX) will start from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm, preceded by a discovery session that starts at 9:30 am.
The time to record orders in the deals market for transactions with large volume will run from 9:15 am to 9:30 am.
The trading session for non-listed securities (Orders Market, OTC) will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
The trading session for non-listed securities (Deals Market, OTC) starts from 09:30 am to 1:30 pm.
