Rosemary Davis, Middle East and North Africa spokesperson for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, has said the Mubarak family has frozen assets in the UK. She mentioned that communications with Egyptian authorities are ongoing to resolve the issue.

Davis, who is in Jordan to attend meetings of the deputy heads of missions at British embassies in the region, also pointed out that talks are ongoing with Libyan authorities about Al-Gaddafi assets in the UK.
