Egypt's EGX30 stock benchmark has closed Monday 1.68 per cent down at 5,174.8 points.
It's the first dip for stocks since 13 July when the main index plunged to its lowest level for two months.
Total market turnover was LE400.6 million with all sectors either declining or staying the same. From 176 listed stocks, 131 declined and only 36 gained.
