Nuclear contaminated cargo from Japan seized in Egypt port

Three containers contaminated with nuclear radiation have been seized at Ain Sokhna port, east of Suez city

Three containers contaminated with nuclear radiation released in the nuclear reactor disaster in Japan were seized in Ain Sokhna port in Suez, according to a report by the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA).

Sources inside Ain Sokhna Port said that the chairman of the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) has given orders that the containers, containing building materials and tools from Japan, should be seized immediately and sent back.
