Egypt's Cabinet has reiterated its commitment to setting a wage cap for all public sector and government employees and reviewing the state's wage structure within a month.

During a crisis management meeting on Monday, the cabinet vowed to review the status of highly paid consultants in its ministries and re-evaluate the ministries' special funds.
