Egypt's stocks ended the trading week in green on Thursday with the main index EGX30 closing up 0.64 percent at 6,812 points.
Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of LE52 million amid a daily stock turnover of LE550 million.
Orascom Telecom for Media and Technology (OTMT) climbed 7.94 percent to LE0.69 per share.
Last week, OTMT offered to acquire the investment subsidiary for Egypt's leading listed bank, CI Capital, for LE1 billion (roughly $128 million); an offer the bank said it is considering.
Market bellwether CIB slipped 0.41 percent to be sold at LE36.14 per share.
