Egypt's main index slightly up Wednesday; foreign investors net buyers

Egypt's main index edged up 0.88 percent to 7,495 points amid daily stock turnover of EGP 908.3 million.

Foreign investors including Arabs were net buyers to the tune of EGP 29 million.

Egyptian Financial Group Hermes closed 0.1 percent lower at EGP 10.06 a share after reporting a 14 percent decline in net profit (EGP 461 million in 2015 down from EGP 538 million in 2014).

Blue chip, Commercial International Bank (CIB), inched up 0.34 percent to EGP 41.17 per share.

Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMT) gained 4.05 percent to EGP 0.79 per share.

Six of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) increased 2.33 percent to EGP 11.21 per share.
