Egypt money supply up 10.4 per cent in July

Around LE1,000 billion is in circulation in 2011, up from LE922.6 billion the previous year

Egypt’s M2 money supply grew 10.4 per cent year-on-year in July 2011, according to figures released from the Central Bank this week. 

Money supply increased to LE1,019.9 billion in July 2011 from LE1,009.4 billion at the end of June 2011 and LE922.6 billion at the end of July 2010.
