Egypt's Stock Exchange to cut trading hours during Ramadan

The Egyptian Stock Exchange will reduce its main daily trading time by one hour during Ramadan, it announced Monday on its website.

Ordinary trading sessions on listed securities will be from10:00am to 1:30pm, Sunday to Thursday, during the Islamic holy month, which is expected to start in early June.

The main market's trading will be preceded by a discovery session starting 9:30am

For non-listed securities, trading sessions for the Orders Market will be held from 11:30am to 12pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, while sessions for the Deals Market will be from 9:30am to 1:30pm, the bourse said.
