Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail is set to fly to Jordan on Friday to participate in the activities of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East and North Africa from 19 to 21 May.

The forum, which is held at the Dead Sea this year under the theme of "Enabling a Generational Transformation" is expected to be attended by leaders and officials, as well as business sector and civil society representatives from more than fifty countries.

This is the 9th time that Jordan will host the WEF such conferences.

The forum is expected to cover three main topics: youth empowerment through the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation, building comprehensive economies, as well as development and diplomatic efforts to tackle regional conflicts and challenges.
