Egypt's Ministry of Manpower has ordered the closure of the Cairo office of leading market research firm Ipsos, citing workplace health and safety violations, a ministry decree dated 20 June shows.

The decree was made public by local media late Saturday. A spokesman confirmed its authenticity to Reuters. He said Cairo local authorities had yet to carry out the order.
