Egypt's benchmark EGX30 index slightly offset the previous session's loss by rising at the end of Monday's trading 0.5 per cent, recording 3.802.52 points.

Broader indices also rebounded, with the EGX70 and EGX100 rising by 1 per cent and 0.7 per cent respectively.

Out of 171 listed stocks, 110 gained and 36 declined.

Telecommunication is the prominent sector to suffer in today's session.
