Egypt's EGPC awards gasoil tender

Egyptian General Petroleum Corp awards Vitol, BB Energy and Glencore a tender to supply 480,000 tonnes of high sulphur gasoil

State-owned Egyptian General Petroleum Corp (EGPC) has picked Vitol, BB Energy and Glencore in a tender to supply around 480,000 tonnes of high sulphur gasoil for delivery into Alexandria over January to June, industry sources said on Thursday.

BB Energy was due to supply 10 cargoes, while Glencore was going to deliver 5 and Vitol was due to supply one cargo at premiums between $17.45 and $20.42 a tonne over Mediterranean quotes.

EGPC was also seeking six cargoes of 37,500 tonnes each of the same grade for delivery into Suez or Waddi Feiran ports for the same period this year.

Sahara Energy, BB Energy, Glencore, Vitol and Mercuria was awarded for the cargoes into Suez, the sources added.

Premiums for these cargoes were not immediately available.
