The Egyptian cabinet approved on Thursday a draft presidential resolution to sign a cooperation deal with the International Labor Organization (ILO) focussed on developing the country's private sector. It is intended to be signed with the country's investment ministry

The cooperation deal is aimed at encouraging private investment, providing technical training for business owners, and supporting entrepreneurs, young businessmen and producers, particularly in rural areas.

The deal is expected to be effective for more than three years, from 2018 through 2021.
