Egypt's state-owned Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC) bought 26,000 tonnes of edible oils for arrival in February, a trader said on Tuesday.

Of the total, FIHC purchased 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Glencore at $1,404.44 a tonne.

The purchase also included 10,000 tonnes of soyoil from Alex Seeds at LE7,799 per tonne and 6,000 soyoil from Al-Wataniya also at LE7,799, the trader added.

The oil was all bought on a cost and freight basis.
