New Egypt law authorises electricity ministry to contract with Nuclear Material Authority for black sand mineral extraction

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has issued law no. 8/2019, authorising the electricity and renewable energy minister to contract Egypt's Nuclear Material Authority (NMA) and the Egyptian Black Sand Company (EBSC) to extract minerals from black sand.

The new law was published in the state gazette.
