Egypt's bourse kicked off the trading week on Sunday morning in positive territory.
The main benchmark EGX30 index gained 1.96 per cent to trade at 5,523 points after 45 minutes of trading.
The broader EGX70 index also gained 1.02 per cent to edge above the 500 point level.
