The Al-Ahram Advertising Agency has won the first open tender to promote three Egyptian state-owned TV channels, Nile Comedy, Nile Drama and Nile Life, reported the Al-Mal newspaper on Thursday.
The contract is worth LE13 million ($2.1 million) per year.
Medialine was the only other firm in the running after Promo Media withdrew from the contest.
Al-Ahram has the contract for two years. In the second year the contract's value will rise 10 per cent.
