Banque du Caire has won "Best Bank in International Banking Transactions GTB" and "Best Bank for Foreign Exchange Transactions" for 2019 from the British magazine International Finance.

 

The announcement of the awards came during a celebration held by the magazine in Dubai.

 

Tariq Fayed, chairman and CEO of Banque du Caire, said he was proud of the bank’s awards, which reflect the achievements of the integrated development plan that the bank pursued in 2019.

 

Amr Al-Shafei, vice chairman of the board of directors, said that these awards are fruits of the successes achieved by the bank during 2019, pointing out that the bank’s award for Best in International Banking Transactions is a culmination of the efforts made by this department, which has had an impact on increasing business volume growth for corporate and institutional clients.

 

The bank’s international banking transactions sector is expected to witness further successes during the current year, especially with the launch of internet banking services for companies, which are scheduled to start soon, he said.
