Egypt’s M2 money supply growth accelerated to 17.24% year-on-year in May, according to central bank data published on Tuesday.

The money supply stood at 4.45 trillion Egyptian pounds ($276.6 billion). Year-on-year money supply growth in April was 15.62%.
