Egyptian stocks are edging back into the green, the benchmark EGX30 up 0.07 per cent at 4,988 points an hour and a half before the end of Wednesday's session.

The main index started the day down around 0.2 per cent, before rebounding.

The telecom sector is topping the market in terms of turnover, with OTMT seeing the heaviest interest.
