Egypt bourse kicked off trading after the Easter holidays in the red with EGX30 main benchmark dropping 0.72 per cent to trade at 4,701 points one hour into Tuesday session.

The broader EGX70 index also dropped 0.64 per cent.

The market ended last week on a positive note with EGX30 gaining 1.8 per cent.
