Egypt’s biggest internet service provider, TE Data, stated on Friday that one of its international undersea cables had undergone some technical damage, which affected the speed of online services nationwide.

Large number of Egyptian internet subscribers reported connection difficulties or slow speeds. 

In the statement on its official Facebook page, TE Data said that the internet disruption would be solved soon.
