Britain's Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign Office, Alistair Burt, on Tuesday launched the Deauville Partnership initiative in Tunisia.
The initiative, named Forsa (opportunity), will establish business mentoring relationships across six Arab transition countries – Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Jordan and Yemen.
Forsa will match entrepreneurs from the six countries with mentors from leading companies in G8 countries, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE and International Financial Institutions.
The initiative was established at the G8 summit in Deauville in 2011. Its purpose is to channel political and practical support to Arab countries in transition.
