The Central Bank of Egypt has announced that commercial banks will return to normal working hours starting Monday - 8:30am to 2:00pm for clients and until 3:00pm for employees.
CBE's announcement coincides with the cairo metro chief's decision to extend working hours until 9:00pm.
The interim cabinet announced on Saturday that the curfew imposed on 14 Egyptian governorates will be enforced from 9pm (instead of 7pm) until 6am with the exception of Friday (7pm - 6am).
This decision was announced after violence and protests on Egyptian streets waned despite the calls for massive protests by loyalists of former president Mohamed Morsi's.
