Egyptian market pares loss to finish up 0.75 per cent

Egypt's leading index EGX30 edged 0.75 per cent on the fourth day of resumed trading, gaining 39.22 points to finish at 5,251.30.

A rally in the first 15 minutes of trade dropped sharply following a half-hour freeze after the EGX100 topped 5 per cent.

Total market turnover was LE1.006 billion with foreign traders responsible for over half of transactions on both buying and selling sides.
