Egypt's central bank accepted 6 billion Egyptian pounds in seven-day repurchase agreements in the money market on Tuesday.
The bank had offered repos worth LE6bn. It introduced a weekly repo offering on 5 April to keep short-term interest rates under control after the political and economic unrest that ousted President Hosni Mubarak.
