زى روايح امشير كل ساعة بحال
Zayy rawayeh amshir, koll sa’ah behal
Translation: Like the winds of Amshir, he/she changes every hour.
Meaning: This weather-inspired saying refers to the Coptic month of Amshir (10 February-10 March), which is known for its gusty winds. The proverb is rare now, but you’ll still hear people referring to someone with a hot temper as being “gusty like the wind of Amshir”.
