 اعزّ الولد ولد الولد

A’azz el weld weld el weld

Translation: The most beloved of children are the children of one’s children.

Meaning: As people get older, they learn how to appreciate children even more, and tend to be quite fond of their grandchildren. This proverb is still in use, usually by grandparents admitting the love they have for their children’s babies.
