الصبر طيب بس اللى يرضى بيه
El sabr tayyeb, bass elli yerda bih
Translation: Patience is its own reward, but few are satisfied with it.
Meaning: Patience is a virtue. Usually the first half of the proverb, “el sabr tayyib” is used and the other half is dropped. This saying is similar to its English equivalent and simply means that it pays to be patient, as snap decisions may end in regret.
