Egyptians overseas start voting for president Sunday

Egyptians living in 160 countries abroad started voting at 8am (CMT) in the country's first post Mubarak presidential elections.

The two candidates on the ballots in the runoffs round are the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi and former Mubarak-era prime minister Ahmed Shafiq.

586,000 registered voters will have the right to vote in Egyptian embassies or send ballots by mail to respective missions.

224,000 Egyptians living abroad cast ballots in the first round of elections in May.

The expat vote is set to end on Thursday 9, June.

Runoffs in Egypt are set to take place on 16/17 June.
