Acting spokesman of the Egyptian presidential office stated that news reports Mohamed Morsi would act as prime minister are not true

Yasser Ali, acting spokesman of the presidential office, denied on Saturday night circulating reports that President Mohamed Morsi acting as prime minister.

Ali blamed the media for circulating "false rumors."

The spokesman further confirmed that a new cabinet is to be announced shortly, however, he refused to comment on whether Kamal El-Ganzorui, who was appointed by ruling military council in December 2011 will remain in office or not.

Earlier on Saturday Mohamed Fouad, the legal and constitutional advisor to the presidential office, told Al-Ahram Al-Masaay newspaper that the newly inaugurated president might act as prime minister untill he finds a new premier.
