Egypt’s El-Sayed Lashine qualified for the third round in the Men’s Singles after beating Croatia’s Zoran Primorac on Sunday.
Lashine went through with a 4-3 win (11-6, 8-11, 12-10, 5-11, 10-12, 11-9, 11-8) to set up a third-round game with Japan’s Jun Mizutani.
He opened his campaign with a 4-3 win over Sweden's Par Gerell on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Omar Assar lost to Greece Panagiotis Gionis in straight sets 4-0 (11-5, 11-9, 11-7, 11-9) in the second round..
