London 2012: Egyptian Mesbah eliminated from Judo's Round of 32

Egyptian judoka and only medalist in Beijing 2008 Hicham Mesbah is eliminated from the first round by Timor Bolat from Kazakhstan in a last second Ipon

Egypt's Hisham Mesbah has been eliminated from the London Games after being defeated 0011-1002 against Kazakhstan's Timur Bolat in the Men's -90kg Elimination Round of 32.

He lost in the last second by Ipon after leading for almost the whole game.

The 30-year old was Egypt’s Olympic hero four years ago in Beijing after clinching the bronze medal which was the country’s only medal at the Beijing Games.
