Afaf El-Hodhod made history for Egypt at the Rio Olympic Games after finishing fifth in the 10m-shooting range finals.
The 19-year-old initially qualified for the finals following another fifth-placed finish in the qualifying round after recording 386-0x at four attemtps.
A day earlier, Egyptian fellow shooters Shaimaa Hashad and Hadir Mekhemar waved the Rio Olympics goodbye after finishing 27th and 49th respectively in the 10m air riffle qualifying round.
Sami Abdel-Razeq and Ahmed Mohamed were not similarly lucky, outsting the shooting 10m air pistol contest after finishing 30th and 45th respectively.
