01:55  Ghofran Mohamed Zaki lost 6-14 to Lee Daehoon of Korea in the repechage game.

23:00 Egypt's  Ghofran Mohamed Zaki will now play in the repechage as Jordanian Ahmed Abughaush who defeated him in round 16 has reached the final of the 68kg event. Zaki will play Lee Daehoon of Korea at 01:45 Cairo time.

22:42 Taekwondoist Hedaya Malak lost against Eva Calvo of Spain in the semi-final contest of the -57kg event by the golden kick.

22:10 Omar El-Geziri has finished the fencing ranking round of Modern Pentathlon at the 3rd place with 238 points after winning 23 fights and losing 12.  Amr El-Geziri is 18th with 208 points after winning 18 fights and losing 17.

21:46 Taekwondoist Hedaya Malak defeats 2015 World Champion Mayu Hamada to advance to the semis of the -57kg.

20:55 Omar El-Geziri is now on top of the ranking with 196 points while Amr El-Geziri is 14th with 166 points.
