Ghana's coach Avram Grant voiced caution ahead his side's clash against Uganda in the Group D opener, saying that there is no longer any weak teams in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite being tipped to earn an easy win against Uganda in the World Cup qualifiers last October, the Black Stars were held to a surprise goalless draw at home by the Cranes before losing 2-0 to Egypt few days later in the same qualifiers.
Ghana were drawn in group D that includes two World Cup qualifiers' opponents Egypt and Uganda along with Mali.
''We have recovered from our poor results in the World Cup qualifiers," Grant told the pre-match news conference.
"We had a previous experience with Uganda. They are a good team and we struggled against them in the World Cup qualifiers but we are looking now for the future," he said.
"No weak teams at this Nations Cup and there is no room for heavy results."
Despite the toughness of the group, the former Chelsea boss said that his side is ready for any challenge.
"Our group is very tough but we are well prepared and we are ready for any challenge."
Meanwhile, Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan added that a win against Uganda on Tuesday's clash would boost players' morale as the Black Stars are looking to go far in the continental tournament.
"We are coming here to win and the start will be against Uganda," Gyan said.
"We were close to win the title in the last edition but we lost in the penalties shoot-out"
"This year we came with the same team and a coach who worked with us for two years. We have a strong team and we should to prove this fact."
The four time African champions are bidding for their first continental title since 1982.
