Tunisia midfielder Naim Sliti warned his teammates about the importance of Algeria clash in the 2017 African Cup of Nations second round of group B.

"Algeria is a giant in African football, and if we win, we stand a chance to reach the next round. If not, our campaign may be over," Sliti was quoted as saying on the CAF website.

Tunisia lost their opener against Senegal 0-2, while Algeria saw a 2-2 draw against Zimbabwe.

"The expectation of our fans back home is very high and we will do our best to meet those expectations," the 24-year-old Lille star added.

Tunisia coach Henryk Kasperczak considers their opponents “favorites” in the group, and has also pointed out the importance of the game.

"Matches between the two teams are always open. It will not be an easy match and we will do what we have to in order to take the three points at stake," the experienced tactician explained.

"The two teams have great players playing in big leagues and big clubs. If we win, it will put us in a good position to reach the next stage and we will work towards this," he concluded.

Tunisia and Algeria will face off at 6pm. Follow live coverage of the match here.
