Morocco striker Khalid Boutaib could miss the Atlas Lions' anticipated clash against Ivory Coast on Friday due to a knee injury.
Boutaib, who plays for Zamalek in Egypt, sustained the injury during Morocco's training session on Tuesday. He was not available for training on Wednesday.
"It will be difficult that Boutaib be fit ahead of Ivory Coast clash," the team's doctor Abderrazak Hifti told Moroccan site Le 360.
The 32-year-old was introduced as a late Substitute in Morocco's 1-0 narrow win over Namibia in their Nations Cup opener on Monday.
Morocco are leading Group D with three points, on level with Ivory Coast who defeated South Africa 1-0.
