Egyptian band Massar Egbari will perform new arrangements from their repertoire at the Cairo Opera House's Open Theater on Wednesday 12 June.

"An acoustic arrangement... in a different setup, featuring many guest musicians," the popular Egyptian band said on their official Facebook page where they called on their fans to attend the anticipated concert.

Massar Egbari, who released their latest 'El-Album' in January, featured Ahmed Shieba in their last song 'Enzel W-Sharek,' released in mid-April, pushing Egyptian voters to participate in the recent referendum on the amendments to the Egyptian constitution.

The band was founded in 2005 by members Ayman Massoud (keyboards), Hani El-Dakkak (guitar and lead vocal), Ahmed Hafez (bass guitar) and Tamer Attallah (drums), before Mahmoud Siam (guitar) joined in 2008.

Massar Egbari – as written in their bio – plays a form of alternative Egyptian music, mixing rock, jazz and blues with some Oriental music. The band is developing regional and international fame.
