The Palestine International Festival is set to host Egyptian musician Maryam Saleh on 6 July in Ramallah's Culture Palace for a concert.

Maryam is a young musician who recently launched her first album 'Mesh Baghany' which is composed by her, with the songs written by Mido Zoheir and Omar Mostafa, and the album is produced by Palestinian artist Tamer Abu Ghazala, who also composed two songs on the album with Maryam.

The Palestine International Festival was founded in 1993 to overcome the cultral siege imposed by Israel over Palestine by inviting artists from different corners of the world to visit the occupied territories through music.

The festival is set to take place between 4-9 July in Ramallah, Nablus, Qalqilia and Nazareth, and will host several artists from Palestine, Egypt, Switzerland, Ireland performing music, poetry and dance.
