Winners of Carthage Film Festival to participate in Cairo's Panorama of the European Film

Filmmakers Hisham Zaman and Yasmin Fedda will be present at their films' screenings as part of the ongoing Panorama of the European Film

Two award winning films at the 26th Carthage Film Festival (21-28 November) are scheduled to screen in this year’s Panorama of the European Film in the presence of their directors.

The first film, Letter to the King, written and directed by Kurdish-Norwegian filmmaker Hisham Zaman, received the Best Screenplay Award in the feature film competition.

The second film, Queens of Syria, directed by Palestinian-Syrian documentary filmmaker Yasmin Fedda, received two awards, the Bronze Tanit in the documentary film competition, and the CREDIF prize, awarded to the best female director of feature films participating in the official selection. 


Letter to the King and Queens of Syria will be screened as part of the ongoing Panorama of the European Film, and followed by Q&A discussions with their filmmakers.
