The Egyptian Ambassador to Serbia Amr Aljowaily received Jagodina's mayor Ratko Stevanovic and the Morava region's head Goran Milosavljevic ahead of their upcoming visit to Hurghada, scheduled from 14 to 18 November.

The Hurghada invitation, proposed by the Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah under the framework of the implementation of the twinning agreement with Marsa Alam, will be led by president of the parliamentary assembly Dragan Markovic Palma.

“The decision of the Serbian city of Jagodina to send a delegation of 30 members, including representatives of companies in the sectors of electrical cables, furniture, tourism, education, health, construction, aluminum, plastic, entertainment, and media, reflects the desire of the city to develop economic and cultural relations under the twinning agreement,” said Aljowaily.

He also pointed out that the dispatch of the Serbian delegation follows a successful visit to Serbia by Abdullah in mid-October, which resulted in the agreement to operate flights from the Nish airport in southern Serbia to the governorate.
