At the Institute of Diplomatic Studies in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdel-Dayem met with the members of the 53rd batch of diplomatic attachés within the framework of the institute's efforts to give the opportunity to young diplomats to meet with the state’s senior officials in order to learn about public policies in various fields.

It is also a chance for the attachés to be made aware of the pivotal efforts that are being exerted to continue the development of the country and its citizens from all aspects, whether culturally or academically, as well as informing them about the crucial role played by culture and arts in the civilisational formation of the country, given that they are some of the most important elements of Egypt's soft power.

Abdel-Dayem also expressed her happiness with meeting representatives of Egyptian diplomacy, stressing the need to continue communicating with the nations of the world to maximise the cultural and artistic activities that are presented to them that reflect the aspects of the excellence of Egyptian creativity and civilisation, relying on them to promote Egypt's culture and arts.

It is important to note that the meeting dealt with a review of the efforts and activities carried out by the Ministry of Culture in Egypt and abroad.

It also reviewed the permanent cooperation and coordination between the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the Egyptian presence abroad, and to shed light on the great diversity of Egyptian cultural products and their role in achieving rapprochement with other cultures and nations.

For his part, Khaled Rady, the assistant minister of foreign affairs and director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, welcomed the culture minister, praising her efforts in improving the performance of the various sectors of the Ministry of Culture.

Rady also hailed her initiatives to offer cultural activities and services to remote areas and regions across the country.

It should be noted that the visit came after holding a number of lectures that were given by senior officials from the Ministry of Culture to members of the 53rd batch of diplomatic attachés as part of their training programme that aims to provide the best experiences for young diplomats and to qualify them to present a good image of Egypt abroad.
