Al Hareth

The new Egyptian film Al-Hareth, which stars Ahmed El Fishawy, Yasmin Raeis and Amr Abdel-Gelil, had its exclusive premiere on Shahid VIP streaming platform on Thursday.

It is the second feature film of the season to skip cinemas and go directly to streaming services due to the ongoing coronavirus.

The film Saheb El-Maqam, starring Yousra and Asser Yassin, was the first to premiere on Shahid VIP, as part of the service’s Eid Al-Adha programme.

Written by Mohamed Abdel-Khalek and Mohamed Ismail Amin and directed by Mohamed Nader, Al-Hareth is a suspense drama shot in Cairo, Siwa, and other parts of Egypt.

Shahid is the first Arabic streaming service in the world to include new and exclusive content, as well as a library of classics.
