On the sidelines of the ongoing El-Gouna Film Festival (23-31 October), Egyptian star Youssra announced her collaboration with Orange Egypt in launching the Hareef Tamseel (Talented in Acting) service.
In an event that took place on 24 October, the actress clarified her thoughts about joining Hareef Tamseel, saying, “I am really pleased to support young talents through Hareef Tamseel Service, which is launched by Orange Egypt. I never forget that during the early stage of my career, I was supported by veteran superstars, so I feel like it’s my duty to give back.”
Hareef Tamseel, an exclusive service for the customers of Orange telecom company, invites each participant to record a video acting out a scene from one of Youssra’s works, whether inspired by the characters she played or those performed by other actors.
The entrant with the highest votes along and one chosen by Youssra will be shortlisted, before the actress selects the overall winner.
The winner will have an opportunity to act opposite Youssra in her new TV series scheduled to air in Ramadan 2021.
Youssra also added that the new TV series, written by Ahmed Adel and directed by Sameh Abdulaziz, is co-produced by El-Adl Group (producer Gamal El-Adl), with whom she has worked in several other previous works, and Synergy Films (Tamer Mursi).
