A new exhibition at Zamalek’s Gezira Art Centre, entitled “Sublimation,” will include drawings and paintings by Egyptian painter and photographer Weaam El-Masry.
Born in 1975, El-Masry graduated from Helwan University’s faculty of applied arts in 1988. He obtained a Masters Degree in 2002 and a PhD in arts in 2007 from the same university.
El-Masry has participated in a number of solo and collective art exhibitions in Egypt, as well as in galleries in Italy, Spain and Germany.
The Sublimation exhibition will open on Wednesday, 16 November at 7:00pm and will run until Thursday, 24 November.
