Photopia will host a talk by four different young street fashion photographers who call themselves FAMOUS, on 21 July.

Seif Abdu, Joseph Ezzat, Adel Nabil and Mohamed Zatona are part of an emerging trend and during the talk will share their experiences, challenges, and talk about garnering such a large fan base so quickly by pursuing their passion for fashion and photography.

“A new group of street fashion icons have emerged around Cairo and over time they became a trend [with] a huge number of followers,” the text by Photopia reads, describing the start of the FAMOUS trend.

Photography ran in parallel to their street style, and their popularity brought up the need for photo sessions that were relatively affordable.

Abdu for instance, who is 18 years old, calls himself a professional photographer on his Instagram page, where he has over 62 thousand followers.

“They became famous for shooting FAMOUS then took up photography as a profession making money out of it.”

The FAMOUS youth became popular in many districts such as Haram, Shobra, Moqatam, Downtown.
