Art Alert: Lecture 'From Impressionism to Postmodern Arts' at the Russian cultural centre in Dokki

The lecture is part of the centre's celebrations of 75 years of diplomatic ties between Egypt and Russia

As part of its celebration of 75 years of diplomatic ties between Egypt and Russia, the Russian Cultural Centre in Cairo will hold a seminar entitled "From Impressionism to Postmodern Arts and Their Pioneers at the Hermitage Museum," on Monday at 6pm.

The seminar is being held in cooperation with the Egyptian Association for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities.

The keynote speaker is Professor Wessam Bashir, assistant professor at the High Institute for Applied Arts.
